Grape info: Italy’s third most planted red variety can be found planted in almost every province across the country, though the best examples are to be found in Piedmont. Fine examples will exhibit a deep colour, characteristically low tannins, a bright fruitiness and heady, perfumed character.

Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. Wines are bottled without aging at the beginning of the year following the harvest.
Tasting note: Aromas of red cherry, blackberry and black pepper on the nose. Medium-bodied with a cleansing acidity and perfumed hints of dried herbs and violets.
