Grape info: Capable of producing contrasting styles from rich and intensely flavoured (generally labelled Pinot Gris) to lean and crisp, Pinot Grigio has proved one of Italy’s most popular exports over the last two decades.

About: Established 75 years ago, but with a story spanning almost 90 years, Calabria has established itself as one of the top twenty wine producers in Australia. The Richland series was originally inspired by the Mediterranean climate and rich, fertile soils of South-eastern Australia and is devoted to the pioneers and founders of Calabria Family Wines; Francesco & Elisabetta Calabria.

The fruit is harvested in the cool of the night to retain freshness and aromatics. Fermented at cool temperatures with no oak contact, with an emphasis on a crisp, refreshing style.

Tasting note: Lifted aromatics of lychee, pear and nectarine with hints of fresh apple. Refreshing and crisp with a taut acidity complimented by a delicate finish.
