Petit Chablis Bichot

Contents

Sweetness: Dry

Grape: Chardonnay

Grape info: Petit Chablis is located to the north and northwest of the Yonne region where vines are often planted on plateaus or gentle slopes. In the right hands, it can represent a good-value Chablis alternative.

About: Founded in 1831, Albert Bichot’s vineyards now encompass six estates that cover Burgundy from north to south. Working together with their grower partners, they practise sustainable viticulture with a commitment to converting fully to organic viticulture in the Côte d’Or.

The wine undergoes a six-month aging period on the lees in stainless steel tanks and texture and complexity.

Tasting note: This highly refreshing wine features notes of apple, lemon and pleasing minerality. The palate is round and generous with a refreshing, nervy energy.

Character: Citrus, green apple, mineral
