Grape info: Cabernet’s deep colour, high acidity and high tannins produce structured and full-bodied wines that have made it the world’s most popular red grape. Its unusually aromatic profile and affinity with oak give it a world-renowned complexity that has formed the basis for some of the world’s finest and most famous wines.
About: Fruit for the Reserve St, Marc is harvested from a number of sites across the Languedoc, amongst the hottest and driest soils of the region. The juice undergoes a hot maceration before fermentation to extract fruit and colour.
Tasting Note: A fresh and intense nose of cassis, cherry and blackcurrant with hints of green pepper. Full-bodied with supple tannins and a fruity finish.
