Grape info: Less demanding than their counterparts on the other side of the Hermitage Hill, Crozes produces agile, approachable Syrahs suitable for younger drinking.

About: From a French wine-making duo who don’t own their own vineyards but work with estates across the Rhone valley to produce expert, modern interpretations, cognisant of tradition and context.

Tasting note: Unoaked, the nose is dominated by blackcurrant and blackberry with a hint of redcurrant and violet. Tannins are ripe and structural promising a long life to those able to resist it in its youth.
