A blend of Pinot Noir fruit from some of the best red growing regions in the country. The majority of the fruit was machine harvested, after which the fruit was fermented in a combination of traditional hand plunged open vats and larger potter tanks. Maturation was then carried out in predominantly French oak casks for 12 months prior to bottling.
Tasting note: A classic Pinot Noir bouquet of bright, enticing cherry and strawberry aromas layered over an undertone of mushrooms and forest floor. The palate is long and concentrated, with rich, sweet fruit, subtle hints of savoury oak and smooth tannins.
