Grape info: Chardonnay’s particular sensitivity to terroir and production techniques make it arguably the most versatile white variety in the world, capable of myriad styles ranging from lean and crisp to rich and spicey.
About: Established 75 years ago, but with a story spanning almost 90 years, Calabria has established itself as one of the top twenty wine producers in Australia. Celebrating 25 years, the Three Bridges range was born from Bill Calabria’s dedication to creating a strong reputation for premium Riverina wines.
Fermentation took place in French oak barriques with a proportion (15%) in new oak. After malolactic fermentation, wines remained in barrel for a further nine months with frequent lees stirring before blending, fining and bottling.
