The Copper Crew was founded by two friends, Oli and Theo, who wanted more from their wine. Too often they opened a bottle of wine when they wanted a glass, only to end up finishing it. They’ve partnered with experts Canned Wine Co. to bring an exciting new range of wines from Puglia a region with a rich history of great food and wine. Sweetness: Dry
Grape: Negro Amaro
Grape info: Negro Amaro is believed to be a Greek import to southern Italy and is used to make all manner of styles from cheerfully inexpensive to complex and full-bodied. Alone it tends to produce somewhat impenetrable wines and so is most commonly found in blends. Flavour-wise it tastes of blackberry, prune and tobacco with a signature note of boot polish.

Tasting note: A nose of plum and blackberries with hints of dried thyme and tobacco. The palate is youthful and fruity with soft tannins and a refreshing acidity.
