Grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon

Grape info: A blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. Merlot’s soft, attractive fruitiness makes it an ideal blending partner to Cabernet, adding flesh to its bones and a counterpoint to its heavy tannins.

About: Fruit for the Griffin Ridge Rouge is harvested from a number of the hottest and driest sites across the Languedoc region. The juice undergoes a hot maceration before fermentation to extract fruit and colour. Wines are then fermented in stainless steel tanks.
