Grape info: Though indigenous to France, Sauvignon’s unique aromatic profile has seen it successfully transplanted all over the world to become the third most cultivated variety, behind only Chardonnay and Airén. Its enduring popularity is down to its distinctive, multi-layered combination of youthful, ‘green’ flavours matched with a keen acidity, capable of producing wines of real substance.
About: We’ve searched far and wide for a wine that truly represents the Cape Region with a nod towards the New Zealand South Island, for its truly powerful aromatic flavour. Stunning on its own, with crisp citrus and apple flavours and is perfectly versatile with a variety of dishes.
