Grape info: Though there is some debate over what exactly Grillo ought to taste like, it has undoubtedly emerged as one of Sicily’s highest quality grapes. Modern winemaking has brought about attractive, aromatic expressions, not dissimilar to Sauvignon Blanc with notes of citrus and dried herbs.

About: Grown on the southwestern hills of the island, around the town or Marsala where sea breezes mediate high summer temperatures, retaining freshness in the grapes. Careful canopy management ensures the full aromatic potential of the grapes is realised whilst reductive winemaking techniques are used to retain Grillo’s delicate, volatile elements.

Tasting note: Citrus and white flowers on the nose. The palate is clean and crisp with showing peach, green apple and lemons with a taut minerality, lengthening its finish.
