Grape info: Chardonnay’s particular sensitivity to terroir and production techniques make it arguably the most versatile white variety in the world, capable of myriad styles ranging from lean and crisp to rich and spicey.
About: Located in the heart of Beaujolais, this family-owned winery with roots dating back to 1601 has been in the Perrachon family since 1877. Despite the weight of history, Laurent Perrachon and his two sons Maxime and Adrien have always taken a modern, open-minded and progressive approach to winemaking.
A long fermentation at low temperature between 15 to 18 °C / 50% in 500L barrels and 50% in stainless steel tanks. Complete malolactic fermentation and an aging period of 6 to 12 months in stainless steel tanks (50%) and 500L (50%). Blended before bottling.
