Grape info: One of Germany’s most ancient grapes with an uncanny ability to communicate terroir, rendering most attempts at pigeon-holing its style, meaningless. Capable of producing some of the world’s greatest wines it can be variously described as, floral, fruity, mineral and spicey. Highly aromatic with a stridulating acidity it can be capable of lengthy aging periods where in gains in complexity.
About: Established 75 years ago, but with a story spanning almost 90 years, Calabria has established itself as one of the top twenty wine producers in Australia. More than seven decades later, the third generation proudly carries on their grandparents' values of hard work and innovation.
Harvested in the cool of the night to preserve Riesling’s freshness and aromatics. Fermented at cool temperatures before filtering and bottling.
